Plex Arts Fest is a festival for contemporary and experimental art in Burlington, Vermont.

Ahead of the 2025 event, organizers asked if I could use my crossing guard skills to help guide people across a busy street separating different events. I was out of town for the festical, but I had already been thinking about alternative stop sign messages I wished I could flash drivers I held up at my usual intersection. So I made a couple of these weirdo stop signs for other Plex volunteers to use at the event.
